Earth Rights Institute Humanitarian Aid Program To Nigeria Update
October 2006
Francis Kabiowei Udisi, Earth Rights Institute Program Coordinator for USA/Nigeria visits Bayelsa State to officially hand over ERI 6 ship containers consisting of educational materials, textbooks, medical equipment and other humanitarian aid. Many of the books and medical equipment were donated on behalf of Earth Rights Institute collected from Project Hope International, International Book Bank, Books for Africa, Wheels for Humanity of California, Heartfelt Foundation, Charles Drew/Martin Luther King Medical University, University of California Los Angeles, and Carelift International among others.
On the 10th Anniversary of the creation of Bayelsa State, October 1st 2006, at the State Stadium, Francis Udisi presented and handed over formally, under heavy downpour, Earth Rights Institute donations. All State Executive members were present.
